8- Day Getaway Week Conference Registration as a Getaway Week VIP Attendee provides complete attendance to the full week of conference events and sessions on land and at sea, including the 3-Day French Quarter Weekend Conference sessions. Registration as a Getaway Week VIP Guest provides attendance to all cruise related hosted events and sessions aboard the ship, plus the Thursday night reception to kick-off the weekend. The conference schedule events begin Thursday Night with a reception at the hotel, with the weekend conference sessions running full days Friday and Saturday, plus Sunday morning. The Sunday night mixer brings together cruise attendees and guest. On Monday, board the cruise starting at 11:30 pm and be onboard no later than 3:00 pm. The ship sails at 4:00 pm. Depart after the cruise ends Saturday or anytime later that is convenient. Sessions for the cruise will be loosely scheduled daily from Tuesday through Friday. The organized conference events conclude with a party the last evening of the cruise (Friday night), with the ship back at dock in New Orleans on Saturday at 8 am. Recommended travel days for this conference would be to arrive no later than Thurday afternoon, and depart after the cruise on Saturday or anytime later that is convenient. You are of course encouraged to extend your stay in New Orleans and take advantage of the hotel discount that is available to you. This is an international cruise with stops on the Yucatan Peninsula (tentatively in Costa Maya) and Cozumel, Mexico. You must bring a passport in order to board the ship. |
